Oliver's World
Arriving to make minor repairs to this 550 Oliver, I was reminded of a certain painting by Andrew Wyeth.
While working on this farm's cattle truck, I came across this John Deere M that had been part of the farm since 1952. The current farm proprietor, now in his forties, had called the tractor "old poopy farty" when he was a toddler because of the sound of the two-cylinder engine. Unfortunately, the name stuck.
